This particularly beautiful 250 GT Lusso was delivered directly by the factory to an Italian entrepreneur in February 1964. The original color combination was Grigio Argento with red leather. Two years later, this 250 GT Lusso was sold to a collector from the USA. According to the documents the car stayed with him for 38 years before it was sold to another US collector in 2004, before it was eventually sold to the UK in 2011. Between December 2013 and August 2015, the car was extensively restored by the specialists at Barkaways, UK. An extensive documentation of this work is available. Prior to the restoration, the car was certified by Ferrari Classiche. The red book certification confirms the car has all its “matching numbers” main components. Because of the outstanding restoration the car is in first class condition. The new paint in dark red metallic is very elegant and harmonizes perfectly with the beige full leather interior.

Two awards, which the vehicle received are also representative for the extraordinary condition of the vehicle. The Ferrari 250 GT Lusso won the coveted “Class Winner” award at the 2015 Salon Prive Concours d’Elegance in the UK, beating out its very strong competitors at this exclusive motor show. In 2016, the car received the “Platinum Certificate”, a class win and on top of that the “best of show” award at the annual meeting of the UK Ferrari Owner’s Club.

Vehicle documents include the Certificate of Authenticity from Ferrari Classiche, the Andreas Birner history report, the Massini Report from 2012 and a FIVA vehicle passport that entitles the car to participate in certain classic car events.

The car is located in Germany and EU taxes are paid. The price is quoted in US-Dollar as the seller is based in the USA.

The car can be visited at any time by arrangement. A lifting platform is available to you too. Also available for this purpose.
