Appia Coupé

I am offering my Lancia Appia Coupé from the 1959 model year.

Less than 1000 of these coupes were built by Pininfarina. It is larger than it appears in the pictures and has a beautiful design. It is powered by a 1.1-liter V4 engine.

This car was delivered new to Portugal and still has its original registration documents. It was then extensively restored in England by the previous owner in 2012 and then bought by a German at RM Sotheby’s in 2014. I bought the car from him two years ago. It passed a full TÜV inspection, but I never registered it because I drove it with temporary license plates.

The cylinder heads have just been overhauled. Overall, it is in nice condition, but it is not yet completely free of defects. For example, it is slightly leaking and the tachometer makes noises, which is why I disconnected it. The synchronizer rings still need to be replaced. I’m still waiting for the parts. Either that will be done or you can take the car as it is, with a corresponding price reduction.
