In my opinion, Mercedes-Benz built one of the most beautiful and best coupés of all time with the W111 Coupé.  This becomes particularly clear in an original and restored car in top condition.  The quality of this still largely hand-built luxury coupé ex works was exceptional.

Here we have an example with the top engine as a 3.5 litre V8 and it is the best W111 Coupé I have ever seen.

The car was delivered in 1970 to an entrepreneur from Stockholm, Sweden. He drove the car very little when it was new, which can be seen from the early invoices from the 1970s. Later, the car became the property of a very well-known singer in Sweden, who is also a well-known classic car collector. A few years ago, the car was then sold by its next Swedish owner to a Mercedes-Benz collector in England, who not only took great care of the car, but also invested a lot of money in the technology. In his time, the car was also repainted in the original sand beige metallic colour. The paintwork is thin and absolutely perfect. The chrome is also in very good condition.

The engine is the original engine with “matching numbers” and the gearbox is a factory replacement gearbox.

The highlight of the car is the perfectly preserved original interior in 250 Cognac two-tone.

The mileage according to the speedometer is 38,000 km and with the perfect interior and the early service history this is most likely true.
